    BUYING PLASTICS
FYO, if you are into Gulps, the BIG store with the Macdonalds "M" upside down sell Gulps for $6.84 a pkt. cheapest Ive found. They dont have as large a range as other stores but much cheaper.

I catch mostly Bream and flatties on these plastics.

4" Berkely minow in lime tiger
5" blood worm with about 2 cm of the tail cut off (not too much), in nuke chook or camo or Bloodworm red

    cheers

I think the vote from many is for Banana prawn for bream, I agree they are a front runner.

But the best all rounder for me has been the red packet(fresh) Gulp 3" moldy cheese minnow- when I target bream, they love it. I was targeting bream in the pin with moldy cheese, and got slammed by a 1 mtr jew a few months ago, and when looking for pinkies in the open bay, they can't resist either.

    Hi BennyKenny
Interesting to see you using 5" Sps on the flatties. I have only ever used 3" and bagged plenty. I guess they have a a big mouth and just love the big bait as well!
So for 2009 I might try some bigger models as well. Thanks

Re: Top Estuary SPs for 2009

Where are all the Atomic and Squidgy boys? I note a few here but are the Gulps the most popular? Good to see good variation here, in size etc among the Gulps used. I guess you get confident with certain types so you tie them on and Presto. Its hard for me to try new ones when I just do so well on my picks.
Anyone doing well on the new Atomic Guzzlers?
    Keepem comin!

The best 2 i have seen on flatheads are
    1. Berkley Gulp 4 inch minnows in Smelt (Got me a bag limit of 5 fish today)
    2. Berkley Powerbait 3 inch minnows in smelt

    Yea mate,
4 inch guzzlers go ok as do the 6",though the 5" snapbacks leave em all for dead, and last for ages.
