i went out with switchee again last night and we desided to target jew as we both have not landed a southern silver jew (iv only got the black ones up north). befor we got to the honey hole, we made a snap desion, and insted of useing livies like we have the last cupple of nights, we got a pack of pillies instead and had a real baito sesh.
i baited up and cast out to where i new a deep hole is and sort of super slowly worked my pillie like a big placky.
i had moved my bait about 6 meters in 10 mins with the slow tiny flicks and hops when i got the first bite. tap tapbrrrrruuuupWAAAACCCKK.STRIKE.SNAP NOOOOOOOOOOOO.
the fish bite me off.
next bait down and in the same spot as the last hit, and the feller next to us hooks up and starts fighting but it was not pulling right and when he got it up it was a pike eel about 105/110cm. them fellers then packed up and left and switchee and i had the spot to our selfs.
not even 2 mins after they left i feel a bump bump wackzzzzzzzzzzzstrikeZZZZZZZZZZZ ITS A JACK SWITCH zzzzzzzz yep it has to be a jack switch. a intence 2/3 mins later and up he pops, a verry angry snapping 47cm jack.
a few pics later and switch and i r back in the water then switchee starts getting good hits, his rod go's down and he strikes and his rod loads up and line starts peeling of his zillion, then slack nooooooooooo, the hooks pulled, "that was a jack switchee" he said "i no" grrrrrr.
so switch baited back up and i started to feel a bump then WACK and im on again. "i think is a nother jack switch" he says "no way" then up it pops barking its head off, a agro little 38cm jack, and im stoked. i did not get to much after that but switchee got hammed two more times and droped them befoe we left late at night. switchee's got the pics again on his cam so hopefuly he posts them up soon for me.
