Broke in the new outfit

I took out my 5 year old neice and my neighbour out for a run in the boat yesterday...left deepwater bend at the crack of 9.30....(there was this big bright warm thing in the sky ???).......there were only about 100 boats in the river...we went out to the front of redciffe and had a bit of a drift around...i just wanted to have a play with the new outfit and see how it casted and so on (The rod a Pflueger Trin graphite 2.1 mt 3-6 kg

anyway second cast on a sp i picked up a little cod 35cm.......looking foward to future action with it....seems a really nice match
Didnt get anything else...we ended up just going for a drive up the pine to petrie..then up the south pine to look at cows,bats, and so on...

Good on ya mate. I have a certate hyper custom 4000 on a G loomis IMX for Snapper fishing which i have had for 7 months and havent been able to put in the water yet between work and the weather have to get a break soon
