Nudgee Beach has a few, use peeled prawn as bait. Most estuaries would hold quite a few Flounder so just fish around.

We took my son's boat over to Tangalooma for a few days and anchored up near the wrecks.
I did a bit of fishing but only from where we anchored.
Caught a variety of fish from Whiting to Eagle rays.
What surprised me was the number of flounder which we caught (several a day).
I did not realise they were so common. I did not keep any as the freezer was not working properly on the boat, however, I understand they are good eating.
Can ayone suggest anywhere I can catch some more within the Brisbane region, as far as the Gold coast.
I am usually landbased at present so would prefer land based options.
Does anyone ever target them seriously?
Thanks
Cahal

Over at the sandflats near redcliffe at the base of the pine river is a good place on low tide, i have caught them there before, as tailorboi said peeled prawns or try squid.

Thanks for that.....I will give those places a go.
I have recently moved here from the UK so the fishing is pretty new to me. I like the idea of catcing a few different fish and if they are good eating so much the better.
I have a lot to learn
