borumba dash

hey all , did a quick hit out to borumba today , after a big week of crissy festivitys..hit the water just after 5am and headed up the left arm after tossin a coin which way to head..throwin surface walkers cultiva,s and eddy surface busters..second walk with eddy saw a solid bass hit it on top but no hookup, (s#*t)...couple more misses and josh is nailed by a 40ish bass, account open...
next was a hungry yella that took a liking to the eddy right at the boat. ..sun got up a bit so switched to spinners and shallow divers...threw a little atomic hardz, for a while around timber and wattle trees and got nailed by a good 63cm toga which stayed connected after wrapin me around some timber ha ..hooked a few more smaller toga round the 40 - 50 mark but they threw lures and spinners back at us after a leap or two...great morning on the water the dam looks tops with schools of bait everyware only saw 4 other boats fishin and about 50 sking...water temp round 30-32 main parts of the dam and up to 34 in some weedy, shallow bays....

hey steve, they do hit hard even the smaller models dont muck around, and spit lures back at the same rate also..as did a couple of bass that didnt connect on the surface now that gets the blood pumpin......and the expleitives... ..be up you way on the 15th for 4 days might catch up...

Hi ross , the dam looks tip top at the moment, the amount of bait was incredible, padocks not schools, everywere..prob to much , the fish are full. . march is on , 13-14-15..what are you doing at home anyway???thought you were sposed to be up mondy.???
