    scarborough reef marks

Morning all, just helping out a mate who has just bought a small tinny to be launched off scarbie. Can someone share with me a mark or two to help him locate a few fish. Its only a 10ft tinny so inclose would be good.
    Thanks guys.
    Jewie.

Jewie, try dropping in at margate ramp. plenty of structure around the green and red markers that define the channel out from the beach, easy to access with a small tinny, and easy to find. Squire, sweetlip and bream mainly there, dawn or dusk is the pick time to fish.
Other wise, have a look at Scarbie reef on a low tide from up on the top of the cliffs near the Scarby pub, your mate should be able to pick a fishy looking spot that way

    cheers

If it blowing from South thru to NW the ramp at Queens Beach is quite decent for a small boat. Head north towards Scarborough and you will find a dozen reefs within the first 200 metres of shore. There are plenty of good fish to be had there for people who get on the water in the dawn twilight and keep quiet as you work the area over. I find the shooting match is basically over an hour after the sun pokes its nose over the horizon.
