A little jack in the fresh

G'day
Went for a jack fish to local passage, up into the reaches of one of the creeks still little fresh, but my brother ended up with a little jack on a banana shrimp, nice little fight, he was happy for the rest of the day . not much after the jack, a couple of bream and a heap of catfish on plastics. Dose anyone know where jacks go when there is a fresh, do they stay in there snag or do they find a snag in the salter water? Going around donnybrook area tomorrow to catch some of those whiting. cheers stessco

We all want to catch big Jacks, but the small ones are much prettier with visible bands and even bright blue lines...of course I still prefer seeing big Jacks on the end of my lure
