Anyone interested in a Jack session over the Xmas break in Cairns?

Evening, Just thought I'd see if there was anyone interested in a Jack session in Cairns over the Xmas break?

Not sure of a day yet, but somewhere between Boxing Day and Sunday I'm going to have a crack in Trinity Inlet and have a go at getting my first Jack for the season.
    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Andrew,

Moved to Cairns in May and love fishing. DOne a lot of lure fishing so I promise not to put a lure in your back. Anyway, I would be keen as to have a crack at a Jack anytime during the period you have identified. Been getting some alright sooties in the Mulgrave, but I am keen to get into the salt, just dont have a boat at the moment.

Let me know if you want a decky for the trip.

    Shayne.

          No, never got out
Rain just wasn't a good option in the tinnie with no bilge...

I did have the boat out ready to go at around 4:30am but it was full of water from the overnight rain (no the bungs weren't in) and took close to 10 minutes to drain out on the 45 degree angle on the driveway. Man these things can hold some water!

Also, I'm getting a lot of "political interference" from the Minister for Misery, Finance and Social Activities lately re fishing trips which I won't discuss here
          Regards,

          Andrew.

Yeah, had a trip down BlueWater on Saturday and snaffled a few undersized Grunter but that was it.

Seriously looking forward to March when I go to Karumba!!
All my energy is going into that at this point...
                Regards,

                Andrew.
