Well dunno about everyone else but I enjoyed myself.
It was good to see that it was a non denominational day with BFO, AUSFISH AND PRFMA stocking group all turning up.
Despite Jimmybob and Kiwifisher having a good session at a prefish yesterday the tilapia were conspicious by their absense with just over 30 fish caught.
The kids seemed to have a good time and were very intrigued by the fin clipping process.
Shayned collected fin clippings for ,I think, Cairns Uni and people from QUT also collected clippings.
There were no bass caught but Kath caught a 50cm tandanus and Shayned caught one around 2 inches long.
We finished off with a relaxed barby.
Thanks to all who turned up.
    Cheers
    Ray

Does this mean the Tilapia numbers are on the slide because that would be great . Mick

There are still plenty there. Just think that cooler weather put them off the bite. @ people got over 60 in an hour day before. Hope that now the bass are starting to grow a bit they will start to have an inpact on them.
    Cheers

Unfortunately plenty of 10mm to 20mm Tilapia all around the edges of the dam, but on the positive side the bass are nearly big enough to chomp on these bloody things.

    Hey Ray,
Remember me telling you about that spot where I thought I could hear really big bream??? Steve went straight there after the cull and promptly landed a 53cm Bream. That will teach me hey?
