Fished wide of Nambucca SWR tuesday for blue marlin 24 degree flat blue water with no current or bait.. got the shits and went bottom fishing in 550m and got 9 blue eye trevalla to 18 kg , 1 little red thing and a couple of spiny dog sharks, one of whitch I was lucky enoough to drop arse first on to my toe ( F%^*)big feed for the boys but came home marlinless top day but with 6-10 kts variable wind ....horn

Have the blacks turned up down your way yet?
Heading to Coffs for new years and a fish with the boys.
Thinking i should stay in Bris with the amount of blacks up
here at the moment.

Gidday mate, there have been a few reports but I m not sure about the authenticity of em . Plenty of bait but the current will need to pick up and push the cooler water away. If you check the BOM blue link ocean current youll See what I mean. Having said that they can appear overnight. The fishing to the north (Coffs) has been outstanding with multiple blues and stripes over the past few weeks. Not long now, btw cool name
