The Blacks must be thick

Took two lads from work for a Troll yesterday morning with intentions of maybe picking up a Hoo or Dollie.

After a couple of hours managed to hook up on a couple of blacks on the Hardbodies!! One looked maybe 30 and the other maybe 60. Both threw the hooks during the fights while leaping and head shaking. Probably should have had single hooks on the lures.

Anyway for us amatures to hook up twice on hardbodies doing 8 knots, makes me thing they must be pretty thick at the moment.

Yeah, I snuck out early this morn before work from Seaway for a few hours, trolled pakula and a laser pro 190...only managed 1 hook-up, but dropped....fun but.

She blew up pretty early, so headed back in around 8'ish.....would've missed work if conditions played nicely!(Dam northerlies!!)

Fair bit of crap still in the water too...water temp was up around 23.5'ish

hey scott where did you find the blacks on hardbodys? i saw another thread of one caught in the bay around bulwer.

Craigie- no mate unfortunately. The marlin were the "by-catch". Would prefer getting some Hoo and Dollies. We had wire running and the little blacks didn't seem to care less.
