Sounder Combo

Hi guys i'm thinking of buying a Garmin GPSMAP 555s Colour Chartplotter/Sounder as i have a 4.4 meter boat a combo would save room i fish fresh water and salt .
has anyone used the garmin

Hi Kman, recently purchased same unit, on special at Northside Marine ($1,550.00), and comes with bonus handheld.

So far have only been out once and worked as I had expected, but havent had a chance to really try it out.

I can vouch for the chartplotter side of the unit...but only if you update to the latest internal software, also it is not NMEA 2000, which is a big letdown.
