As the title says ... has anyone ever run an Ethernet NMEA 2000 buddy system between a couple of Lowrance or other displays ...... and if so, was it worth while?

I am toying with the idea of running all the essential stuff through one display and the radar etc through the other. Simply put, its so there is ample room for maps, sonar and radar to all be displayed at the same time. That'd make it ideal for running at night, particularly in other than good conditions and also avoiding those clowns with no nav/anchor lights ......

Got all the other gear to put the system together, but this'll only work if the research comes up trumps and even then, if I can source a reasonably priced second display unit. Hence its only on the nice to have list at this point in time, but still interested in the feedback !!!
