well it finally happened; went fishing in friday night in the Noosa River and caught my first Mangrove Jack! pretty happy and they tasted Awesome they were 45cm long and weighed just over a kilo. have been trying to get one of these for a long time, we also dropped a nice Jew (we think) at the boat.

Yeah thats it.
Its a mates; he used to work on the Swains and did it up now its retired and still catches heaps as his personal boat. Bloody stable things he covers some ground in it.
