    Noosa River SPs

    Hi all
Going to try the Noosa river this week one arvo, have fished there off the shore and caught whiting, but I am going to take the tinny up and want to work Sps for some flatties etc.
Any advice on flatties in that river, and any suggestions on the areas to try, Sps used etc? I usually use Gulps.
Is it better to try near the mouth or go further up river?
    Happy Christmas all!

Flatzie if you go upstream drift the channel towards the end of the first lake you will see a couple of island and sand bars there that hold flathead and whiting and a few school jew.

My favourite spot in the channel leading out to the mouth. Easy to drift and cast into the fallen tree, allow to sink and bounce back. I usually use 3-4 inch GULPs for this. I have only really done it in a Kayak but the theory should still apply.

    Good luck!
