Thumbs up New Catalina 4500H....which rod?

Well i finally went out and bought myself a decent spinning reel today a Daiwa Catalina the next decision is which rod will suit me best,

I was thinking of the t-curve 200 or one of the monster mesh daiwa's but there;s so many to choose from.

The combo will be used for a bit of jigging for black jew and fingermark bluebone trout etc and spinning for mack's,tuna and GT;s queenfish and possibly sailfish so i need an alrounder and used from a small boat (4.5-5.5 mtr)

I've loaded it up with 220 mtr's of 50lb fins so something in the 10-15kg bracket is what i'm thinking.

    Cheers Dan........

MM would be good, a bit longer at 6'3" than the TC200. Tcurve kingmack 7' 10-12kg . Take your reel with you.

What about the Catalina rod. Was designed to use with the reel. Step up from the Monster mesh but well worth it.

Nice reel. I am waiting for the 6500 to be released.....

Well i ended up in the tackle store again today to check out a few rod's for the catalina and after loading a few up and giving them the once over i decided on the MM 632ms..........rated to 9kg of max drag.I had a play with the saltiga,t-curve and a jigwrex and the mm seemed to be near on a par as the other's but at mate's rates of $210.00 i couldn't go past it for value for $$$.

Hopefully it'll get a workout on the next set of neaps.

    Dan..
