    Unhappy chart probs

    hi there fishos , having probs with charts in a hummingbird 363 trying to get east coast of aussie, keep geeting english channel i read the manual that came with the sounder and a few other gps books but cant seam to get it rigth, i plotted a cause from brissie riv to hutshes and back but know go keep getting england channel, mode is in simulater mode ,very confused can any one put me rigth in laymans t would be very greatful . rob

    take it out of simulator mode & plott a coarse that way.
    i got into simulator mode & after that i had all the waypoints that were in simulator mode in manual mode, had to delete them all.

    Navigate the cursor to your preferred starting position...ie: brissie river. then using the menu buttons select navigation tab, scroll down through the options and (making sure your in advanced mode) reset simulator start position. from then on whenever in simulator, it should start from that spot.

    NOTE: changes you make in Simulator Mode are saved if you have the transducer connected....ie when rigged up in the boat but just playing around in the driveway/garage. If you have it out of the boat and running simulator of an external power source and NO transducer connected....changes are NOT saved.

    thanks mate done that got sat fix got maps up plotted course for hutshes but the course starting mark was way off ,plotted start mark brissie riv ended in boggey creek prob be 2km off ,but only plotted from beacon to beacon book with a ruler, might have too get proper maps for morton bay.

    when in sim mode boat gos off course cant get boat ot come back to heading, cant cont speed , how do we do that if we can .thanks rob

    mates is there the rigth tools out there to plott course the rigth way, to get the right gps marks so i wont end up in the middle off the pic. thanks rob
