Kolan has a barrage where as the Baffle doesn't so it seems to fish better. The Baffle sometimes can be affected by floods more so than the Kolan but both fish similarly towards the mouth. The Baffle is a more natural river with rock bars etc. and would be my preference but I have caught good feeds of whiting and flathead at Miria on the Kolan. Hope this helps.

As a former Bundy Lad, I have fished both systems and preferred the BAFFLE, The kolan is very much quieter at times in terms of boat traffic but at school hols the caravan park at the mouth generally also means that the traffic is quite heavy.
If it is Bread and Butter than either but if it is jacks and trevors then the Baffle
