    Re: PB Bream

    Thanks guys for the info.
I agree, gathering the bait is the best tactic, but time consuming.
Lucky 4 me, I have a month off soon and am camping near the beach, and can catch beach worms, so the plan is to catch enough to fish the surf, and put a few away in tupperware in the freezer for when I am in the boat
If men are from Mars, and women are from Venus, politicians must be from uranus ?

to rig em, cut a slice about the size of your middle finger or slightly bigger. Use a single 4/0 hook on 40lb trace for jacks, or a 1-2/0 hook on 10-20lb leader for bream. Hook it once thru the top, then a second time thru the middle, (just like threading a needle thru a hem). Use a running sinker, as light as you can go, but still feeling the bottom. i'll do a photo if anyone wants it.

I only use ganged hooks on whole pillies for Tailor. Id use 2 snelled hooks for something with a bigger mouth, like a jew (if only I could get one ).
