Thread: Palm Beach Shuts Down!!

    Re: Palm Beach Shuts Down!!

We went through the gutter along the beach (was a clients boat so I wanted to look after the ally prop) I have to keep the boat for a while until the Gold Coast Franchise is up and runing. They want me to use it as much as possible (free advertising I guess. As you would have seen it's a great boat for around that area complete with 75 Honda, Colour furuno Sounder, bait tanks and even an ally trailer. Certainly a lot easier than taking my boat out through Currumbin.

Once that dredge pushes up to the end of the groyne hopefully a channel will open up straigh out the front.

    Leighton,

I think this boat is $275 a day. It's there Kimberly 5.1 good for up to 2Nm offshore so perfect for Palmy

Similar Story to others here - went out Sunday morning for not much. Picked up a nice spangled for a feed off the bottom and then had a bit of fun jigging a chrome slug for slimy Mackerel in the burley trail. Put some nice baits in the freezer and even managed a minimal feed, but that's it!

Why is it that the Northerlies bring cold water into the Gold Coast? I have had a look at Mick's water temp link and can see the narrow strip of cold water on the coast, but can't figure out why it works this way?

I will take the yak out maybe one day this week and see how I go..

    Bring on the warm water..
