Damn pity I sold the truck last week, imagine the hole Nagg could have put in the ceiling with a truck load...... I'll just put the canopy back on so I can get a real Ute load............And the ute is insured

Bro-in-law (Andrew) has to work until at least 2pm, so Lee I'll hook up with you and Nagg and the rest of the convoy on Friday morning, Chariot in tow. We can load the Tropical wherever.

Depending whether Paul (cyclone that is, not Big Ren!) makes an early visit, my plan is now to head out early on Friday morning to have a fish, then setup lunchtime before going out Friday afternoon for another bass. Will be solo on Friday as Mark will head down after work on Friday. I will most likely be out that way on Wednesday for work, so will check things out re access if it starts to rain a bit.

If it is likely that Paul is coming early I may be a non starter as I get flooded at home, so I would rather be flooded in than out. We should know more later in the week, but hopefully it will be the same as last year and the cyclone will be a fizzer.

So boys and girls, being a Borumba newby, do I need to book a camping spot, pay a fee etc, check in with anyone, or are we booked under someone's name for Ausfish?

    Too many questions, sorry.

    hey Paulo,

Contact phone number for Bob and Dawn is 55886662.
I just rang Dawn (what a top aussie chick) and she said they have a spot put aside for us - thanks Daggs - that is dry ground with shelter adjacent. I think it may be closer to the powered section than last year, as she said the top section still has water running thru it!Just see her or Bob when you arrive to pay fees, last year she didnt have any change on her so correct coin helps.
Fees are $8 per night for un-powered.
She advises watching out on No. 6 crossing.

Yes Number 6 has logs washed out from under the tar and holes the width of a sleeper in the road so very slow going also watch the odd stick just under the water past halfway up the left arm saw a few in our wake last weekend nasty but water may of dropped to enable to see them this weekend

Nagg, Lee, how about we meet at the Morayfield BP (on the Highway) at about 9am Friday? Paul, BP at Chevallum sounds like the go. I am not keen on using the Ettamogah pub highway entry, it scares the s*&t outa me on the best of days, let alone with the boat on the back.

I will bring up a pumpkin, some potatoes and carrots to add to the roast night. Have been wanting to try out a stuffed pumpkin recipe I found for a while now.
