Bikini tshirt - Stephanie B did it justice but Kim did it better.
Kim- the Rocky Road went down a treat. Apparently it's the best my wife has ever eaten.(extra brownie points)
Bloody fire breathing Daryl.....It was like being back in Byron Bay again, all that was missing were the bongos
The shirt...well it was cheaper than a boob job. I'll keep it for Steve at the Muster.
I'm glad she liked it, brownie points count for everything.

Mark If I give all you guys the recipe, I'll have more room for fishing gear. Now you all mock the "suitcase" but has to do the two of us. Takes two of us to lift it too. You can never have too much gear

    Cheers Kim.

We are not mocking - we are just suffering 'Tackle Box Envy Syndrome'. You and Rod are tackle box Yodas and we have much to learn.

First lesson grasshopper, Go forth and shop. buy things that are shiny, buy things that are useless....but most importantly, get the shiny ones . then buy big box/bag to fit it all in. With this mastered you will one day become powerful Jedi Tackle rat. Arr so!

    Cheers Roo.

No lure shopping here for a while!

So far this morning I've racked up over $1000 of boat bits in a list that I "must have" for the boat that "has everything I'd possibly need" (at least that's what I told Jen when I did my sales speil!

It would seem that it will be quite some time before I ever dream of reaching Jedi TackleRat status, at least it gives me an excuse for any donut trips - If only I had lure xyz in Azure and Champaigne colour....

Did we mention there are at least another 3 trays at home with all the barra/offshore lollies?
    It's a sickness.......I am a tackle junkie.
We may need to join Deano's team All The Gear No Idea.
Tony what else could that boat possibly need? Hope everything is going ok.
    Cheers Kim.

    Hiya Kim

The boat is all good, it's just not set up properly for any offshore stuff yet and I'm heading up to Roonies with some of the rustwater boys next week.

Have had fun today, got a VHF radio, new LED all round light (original wasn't there), new anchor gear - 100m silver rope, chain etc, 406 epirb, and some other stuff I can't remember as shopping is exhausting

    Cheers
    Tony

Hiya Bashers, got back home last night after a fantastic week on the road. Well the inaugural BB has been and gone and I must say thanks to all that attended for making it such a fun weekend, and particularly Deano who got the show on the road.
So, after a restless night Thursday night I hit the road at 05:30, rearing to go.
Good trip up, no issues on the track and had a beer in my hand by 12:30. After a catch up with the boys and handing over TonyM's new little plastic boat and setting up camp, and another couple of cordials, the call was made to have a fish. Tony invited me to join him on his new rig(Black Ice) for her maiden voyage, who was I to refuse.
Didn't take Tony long to get comfortable and had the Etec at full noise b4 we got half way up the basin, she is a lovely rig Tony.

Didn't take the skipper long to get his deckie his first Toga, none of the fish caught were real big but gee they play up on light gear.

Back to the camp for happy hour after a bit of fun with the hire car refusing to drag Tony's rig up the ramp.
Most of the crew had arrived and again, it was great to put faces to names.
The remained of the evening was pretty tame I think I was the last to bed about 10.00

A good day on the water Saturday with a few fish thrown in with shane in the morning and Shane and Tim in the arvo.
Bloody nice piece of water Burumba, I will def be back.
Sat night was a bit of a blur with the constant comic antics of a few of the crew (goes on tour, stays on tour)

Anyhow, most of the stories have been told so I will just finish by saying thanks again to everyone for making me feel welcome and it was great to meet u all.

    Pete.

    Mondy Leg to come.

Great report Pete, the smiles all round say it all I think. It was fantastic to have your company on the water and the pleasure of seeing you catch your first Toga.

Thanks again for delivering Daisy safely, I'll have to tear myself away from <Insert Black Boat Name Here> and get Daisy on the water for her trials sometime soon.

LMAO This naming thing gets harder all the time, a few more good ones there to make it even harder, Black Ice & Mambo are beauties, not sure about flat black though Daryl - kinda takes the shine off it

    Cheers
    Tony
