    it was a open qunitrex explorer 385 and we are making it in to like a explorer trophy or hornet trophy but the one thing i have wanted is more storage area and once we do the cabinets in the seat it will be more user friendly and have a bit more space up the front to stand also im putting another seat mount in the middle of the boat so when im river fishing i can sit there to watch my line then we are put a area under the floor to put the oars and life jacket it will be easy accesable but better in the room sense so yeah . and i will then also have it painted and yeah will look a million dollars only thing is i wont have a mondy nuster sticker anymore damm and yeah i been looking at doing it for a will so yeah excited

    yeah you can never have enough tools thats for sure but hey he know his stuff he can have as many as he like if the boat comes out good go tim the tool man got to love the arg arg arg

    im the helper he does all the welding and stuff but i do a few things here and there all the compartment stuff and all the timber and carpet stuff and all the latches and things like that he does all the fabrication stuff

    i say in a 3 weeks time i will be back on the water hopefully he is going to work on it thursday when he gets back from his job at ipswich and i think he will finish some more of the welding and then i will get the compartment lids on monday and also ill have to get new numbers since it is getting painted so yeah maybe bye the time i recover from my teeth op i will have it done he has to also put a mount for the leccy up the front so yeah a few bits and pieces to do but the hard stuff is done we did that in 3 hours

    i got to think of a name for it then ill have to also get new quintrex stickers for it too so its back to the new look and i will get 2 explorer labels made and put barra in front of that to say barra explorer that will be a good name for it
    and yeah all good oh i forgot 2 new ausfish stickers so you can all tell its me at bourumba yahoo

    that looks awsome simon, will look a mill when complete, didnt stay up the dam tonite, pissen & windy this morn ,so just dashed up n back, yea i know harden up princess, but also had shite to do round home so i can piss off next week, prob go for a blast up the river tmoz, then get ready for mondy...

    did she go well up there and has the fishing picked up yet hope for all you lucky anglers that are going up in the next 2 weeks that it does na dyes im very happy how the boat is shaping up at the moment and cant wait for it to be finished but oh well better of taking his time on it that way it willl look nice
    white it will be and i think i will defenitly call it barra explorer mine will nice look ok but yours is a nice bit of gear with some extras to top it off got to love the polys

    Well ..... After watching the AFC today - I'm impressed Borumba looks like a magnificent destination BRING IT ON !!!!
    I just hope the fishies bite better than they did for the AFC lads

    I've been going to Borumba a lot of years Chris.....and the action I saw was about par for the course.......For the Bash I will be targeting Saratoga...for me they are alot more spectacular... a great little sport fish

    Being a Shift worker in the past Chris alot of my freshwater fishing was done during the week......Somerset for Big Bass......North Pine on permit for absolute Horse Bass and Yella's.....Borumba for Saratoga......and Monduran for well you now what I'm saying
