    Tidemaster (air pontoons)

    Hi there,

Currently thinking about a secondhand Tidemaster air pontoon to keep my 23 foot boat out of the water. Have some questions.

1 Does anyone have any experience with this particular brand and any comments ?

2 What would be a fair price for a second hand unit ?

3 Anything I should watch out for when looking to purchase a second hand unit ?

    Thanks,

    David.

    Hi David

Assuming your boat weighs around 2000 to 2300kgs and given the state of the economy (as percieved by some vendors) and the fact that I have seen 2300 and 3200kg Airberths on the market for $9 k somewhat less for the tide m would seem reasonable.

    Cheers

    Chimo,

Thanks for the comment. You mention the Airberths would sell for about $9k and suggest the Tidemaster should be somewhat less. Is there a big difference between the 2 brands ? and how much less do you think they are worth.

    Thanks for your comments,

    David.
