At work, being tired and wishing I was rather fishing, Ive been browsing the net looking for tackel stores online and see if there is any price difference or range of products.
I haven't been able to find many, but thought maybe a sticky with a list of online stores might be helpful? Do any of you buy from ebay or online tackle stores?
Dont get me wrong though I support my local fishing stores, Spot On and the Compleat Angler, sometimes you can pick up a bargain from the net.

Unfortunately with the low Aussie dollar the great online Japanese and US tackle stores are not really a viable option at the moment. The local (Australian) online stores seem to have some great specials from time to time but in all honesty most of the time there prices are usually pretty similar to your local tackle shop. Here is a list of some of the stores i browse and occasionally buy from.
I'm sure there is plenty more i have missed plus there are heaps and heaps of great ebay stores on www.ebay.com from the US and Japan. Anyways there's a start, happy shopping
Cheers Chris
bayfisher has given you a good list ive used plat and japan tackle mainly plat though be warned plat was charging about $100 dollars for rods to be delivered they have to be fedex defiantly gone up with dollar reels postage is a lot cheaper beginning of the year when dollar was a high massive bargins
As for uk online stores very diffcult dealing with them most will not ship overseas
a couple do but you will have to pay with a telegraphic transfer from your bank
no credit cards allowed (they ask for you credit card during ordering process but then you get email with bank details) best email them stating oveseas order .i am presently buying a uk casting rod
and have been through the mill over the last 2 weeks , one i found did shipp rods overseas but didnt get back to me with bank detail after ordering for 3 days and then told me rod broken have to wait 3 weeks plus 5 dyas bank transfer plus postage lol next year
found another site i emailed them about overseas they siad fine which rod emailed back the order (cant use there registration if overseas) sent bank details back took a te night with emails back forth very quick replies though am now wait g on rod to arrive . they seem very good so wait and see
veals uk is the only one i found that takes cedit card .
Just purchased some rods from MO tackle.com (based in Coffs Hbr) & they advertise that they won't be beaten on price. Good service, reasonable freight cost and a lot quicker than buying from overseas. I think I'll use them again...
