It caught my attention when they said it has all steel and bronze internals. Bought one in the summer, took it out few times, then took it apart to see whats up. It is basically an effort to copy the Daiwa Saltiga with some added touches, for just $160

I did not think anyone would be interested, but let's see: If anyone wants a detailed illustrated review of this reel, post a reply to this thread. If 10 members were interested, I'll post a review with photos inside out.

Thank you for putting up the picture.
It gives a better view of the reel compared to the online pictures.
Does the reel have the feeling of being able to tackle big fish with big runs.
What have you caught with it and what line are you running.

Line was mostly Damyl hyperon extreme 80lb. Caught Grouper on whole squid. Will detail its performance in the review, you should find it interesting. Cheers.

Certainly look forwards to seeing the review - I'm hoping I'm mistaken and that's not rust on the bail arm?

There's always an exception to just about any rule I guess, even a rare one to the old "if it sounds to good to be true..."

Alan did you check out the bearings when you stripped it down? Thanks for providing the feedback - I'm sure many more than actually responded are interested in hearing how you went.

    Cheers

Nopes. That's dry ink from the squid I was using as bait. I was not kidding when I said I beat the reel up

Yes, I absolutely did. You will read about it all in the review. I do not want to spoil the read for you

Check back Saturday night or Sunday morning at maximum. Editing and uploading the photos took longer than I expected

    Cheers all.
