Front Diff locks for the new Navara

ARB dont do front diff locks for the new D40, apparently they are not going to make them cos they tried and kept braking them?? they do however have a rear diff lock alkthough they come with a LSD. does anyone know of another Locker for a Navara front end?

I suspect it is the front driveline in the Navara breaking not the difflock they fitted, you might need to just be happy with the rear one?

I cannot think of a way out except for a conversion to front LSD if available somewhere, certainly not difflock good offroad but better than a fully open diff.

    cheers fnq

I know on the D22 navaras they use a Silvia LSD R180 or R200 something along those lines! I would suggest looking into this as the front end wouldnt change to much!

ARB have said that it is a similar front end to the old Datsun 180B

And what im trying to say is you use the REAR LSD out of a silvia and put it in the FRONT - might need to get new CV's etc.

    Have a look on 4wdaction...

And look for Joshy - he has a D22 and has done exactly what i just suggested! This might help you out! Also, have you thought about a detroit lokka? See if they make one for your truck.

Yeah i know its risky! I would look for a Detroit Lokka of some sort! Maybe TJM do a locker aswel? I think they are called 'Pro Lockers' something like that
