Not much, they might have a more basic charging system or no charging system, pull start instead of key start, premix instead of oil injected, lack of bundled gauges, they can be an older 2cyl model instead of the current mainline marketed 3 cyl etc, poverty pack for those who need not much more than to use it as intended.
I had a 1994 Evinrude 55hp commercial model from new. The difference between this and the standard was that it used the 70hp leg. As FNQ suggested, it was pretty basic other than that, ie pull start, no charging system.
