    Nathan,

Congratulations and good post with lots of interesting photos.

Well done and glad the family enjoyed themselves, it was great catching up with everyone.

Photo of the camp oven cooking, has the camper in the background, guess last trip for it and the old boat (sold).

Pick up new boat this week (Motor still not ready) and will be tenting it next time.

What using a classic, will have to get some of them too, need a few lures, the box is in need of a few extras? A bloke can never have too many lures. Must have a dozen or so now?

    Say hi to the family.

    Regards

I only keep one so I can give it to visitors to use, that way if they lose 20 bucks worth of lure, I wont shed a tear!

You are a hard man, Brian.........

The purple barra classic is Kyle's late afternoon "go to" lure, responsible for a couple of serious fish in B plus more hook-ups and a bust off. We actually had to grab Rob's last one as a replacement...............

You may be right about gold vipers though, all mine ever caught was a 48cm bass up at white rock.......

BTW nice report and pics, Nathan. I am now eagerly looking forward to my next trip to Mondy in around 10 day's time......

Thanks for the report and info Nath. Myself and a couple of mates are heading up there mid jan for 3 nights for my first( and definately not my last) crack at these iconic fish. To hook up and boat one would make my trip. I have started stocking up on lures already and can't wait to get there!!!
    Cheers........Terry..........

Terry, the mart with the K has 25% off fishing gear until 26/11/2008.

My local stocks RMG scorpions, classic F18s, Reidys B52s, Laser pros and Gold Bombers........a good selection of barra lures.

    Nathan,
thanks again for re-standing my camp after Thursday's storm, i didn't realise it had been flattened so badly until i saw your pic. I ended up staying for the Saturday but you didn't miss much by leaving early, I think there might have only been 6-8 fish caught in the main area however there was another 115cm caught and released, hope everything went OK with your pooch, catch you next time

Bloody fantastic Nath. Catch any more like that and you'll have enough runners for next year's Melbourne Cup .

Good stuff mate, looks like you thoroughly enjoyed yourself. Well deserved.
