    Storm jacks

Noticed there is a lack of jack reports lately!! so decided to post up a few.

Got these two jacks jigging plastics on the top of the runout in the Tweed over the past two nights. The water was dirty with the storm runoff and lightniing was everywhere...but there jacks were still hungry. Also got three smaller ones (around 35cm) over the two trips.

Plastics used were gulp shrimps and atomic 3" grubs.

    Cheers

    Pete.

Onya pete. Nice pics. Those squidgy heads are the only ones I use for jacks with plastics. Good strong hooks. Would like to get some to mould....

    Re: Storm jacks

    Andrew- Yeah mate berkley prawns.

GSquid- Mate I was using 10lb braid 25lb leader and my mate was usin 6lb braid 12lb leader. No bycatch which is unusual but the water was very dirty.

Jack (mick)- Yeah mate, mine was 53 and my mate was 52 (but he stretched it) doesnt look it in the pic though. Still bloody landbased too. haha. hmm might have to remedy that soon.

Thanks guys, goin again tonight so hopefully it wont storm. Hittin some bass then gettin the runout again in the salt for a go at the jacks.

    Pete
