    rod to match my alphas

hi all, looking for ppl's opinion on a rod to suit a daiwa alphas 103. Light to Med/Light. Mainly for lighter hardbodies. Spooling it with 10lb castaway. My budget is $100-$250.

    cheers

What about something in the shakesphere baitcast range.

I have an uggly stick gold 4 to 8 that is ok but it realy needs at least 10 grams to cast reliably.

I recently picked up a shakesphere tidewater 2 to 4Kg which cast the lighter weights much better.

there are some deals going arround on shimano rods at the moment.

all those will fit well within you budget.

    cheers

M O tackle are clearing out the Pflueger Medalist range for $129. they were much more expensive. I have the 2-4kg Baitcaster..CA64LDS, 6'4" , 2-4kg, Light Cast. Nice rod for casting bass lures, they come with top range Fuji Titanium Silicon guides.

    Cheers Roo.

Thanks for that info Roo. I looked into that rod offer & ordered one (not that I needed another rod), but I can't resist a bargain and they look like quality. Now of course I will need a nice little LP baitcaster to go on it. It's a vicious cycle...!

    cheers
