met up with Shane (robersl), at Donny ramp at 5 AM, Shane had the boat already in the water so we loaded up and we were off! set the dillies and went off to hunt some tings on the poppers, Shane picked one up on the worm but all was a little quiet we headed back cheek the dillis for a few crab, moved on pumped some yabs and the hunt continued in a few different spots Shane picked up a bream on the popper and although i could see some small tings following and a couple of hit and miss's i couldn't get a hookup, the second run on the dillis was much more productive and produced 11 crab but two were just too close to size to keep. its days like Sunday that its great to be on the water with a fisher that knows his way around like Shane, we hit a few spots and although the numbers we not coming the fish that did were quality with shane picking up a horse of a ting going about 37cm, with still no ting on a pop but with the change in weather coming in we had one last check of dillies and back to the ramp, ill let the picky of my share tell the final tail,
thanks again shane, another great lesson in how it should be done! i just got the crab cooked up b4 the power went down for 24 hours so sitting in the dark eating fresh crab, life is good!!!
