Wasn't going to go out today but changed my mind at 8o'clock. Rang a good friend and we're on our way - put in 8 pots and then got our first line in at Cooks Rock by 9:30am for no results after half hour. Out of there quick smart and over to one of my bream spots.
Very slow but but we were on top of the big tide today so I guess there scattered.
Picked up some lively lures the other night at BCF in Caloundra for their member night and man are they good or what. Trolling for flathead for an hour or so before we go home and picked up 2 bream at 33cm and 1 cod at 42cm. Lost one big one at the boat but thats fishing - should have had my net earlier. Haven't fished lures here at bribie before so definatley trying that again.
Lure was a "micro mullett' from lively lures.
