Late season broadwater croc and 2 pb's

Well after fishing the 'classic for average results and nothing but wigglers from a couple of trips in the deep water at the pin, my mate and I hit the broadwater this afternoon with no expectations apart from enjoying time on the water. After pulling up to a favourite spot and losing a couple of substantial fish in quick time (bite through hook pull) we landed this 88cm, a pb for me. Not long after Muzz lands a 71, his pb. Not a bad effort with 2 pb's within minutes, and after spending hours chasing the big girls over the previous couple of months with not much to show, the irony was not lost on us! The 88 was caught on a gulp 5 inch in nuclear chicken and the 71 on a 140 squidgy fish drop bear.

Better late than never Geoff. mate thats a great fish. looks like your extensive training with Muz has produced the goods with him, i would love to have seen the look on his face when you netted it he would have been pretty excited!!
