    Showery night at the Nerang!!!

    Hi Guys,

Fished the nerang last night from 11pm unitl 6am with a mate from work and i can say it was the best trip so far for the season with 33 whiting biggest ones were 39cm, got them mostly on the run out tide, conditins were a bit wet and windy, got the fish on cribbies, T1 who i normally have the pleasure of being a deckie for was also down on the trip with TINN and they also managed a nice feed, but once again when daylight broke the fish went off the bite down stream so we ventured up stream of I.O.C bridge and managed to get a few more whiting. But this time unfortunatley like the last 2 trips i did not get a grunter to take home.

    Cheers Sean

Well done GURU! You certainly led the way and put on a clinic for us amatuers...It's amazing what 15m & 1.5m of depth makes...

Might be time to give you back that deckie spot - would save on listening to whinging for the 1st few hours... It certainly was bloody wet but at least with a few fish around, it cushioned the discomfort!
