    Is Ausfish site probing me?

Hope I can get this written before it happens again....lately my antivirus starts dealing with some issue coming from the Ausfish site, it goes into a spin and then my PC shuts down...only happening on Ausfish and only in the last week or two. Anyone else?Does Ausfish "probe" to see who is on their website as my antivirus seems to think its a trojen trying to load.....

    made it!

Let me guess you run Norton and Internet explorer??

Seems it tries to pull up a widows media window at random and causes a shut down.

Interested if anyone else has experienced this or knows what bug is causing it?

    Cheers

I am also guessing there is a glitch in the system, as my new computer sometimes freezes periodically only on this site, and only for a few moments. Ususally if I have been on the site for a length of time.

Mine too, only work computer though - home is fine.

Maybe the work computer is trying to send me a message!

Trend micro & I.E. Has happen again since I posted this originally but not today so far. Also a work computor with firewall etc. Not being ofay with IT I have no idea what the issue could be but all I can say is that my anitvirus is up to date, there's a firewall, it only happens on this site!

If you do a search you will find that this problem has been going on for some time . I had similar problems and it was being caused by Nortons . My puta bloke deleted nortons and installed Kaspersky and downloaded Firefox as my new browser .
To date all my problems have been fixed (touch wood ) I find pages load a lot quicker and I don't loose any typing for posting .

I am really not sure if this is going to help any of you, but it's worth a shot, because I own a vBulletin forum also and we had some members have similar problems and this solved it for them:

    go to this site http://proxy.org/

then type in www.ausfish.com.au in the box and press GO

then again www.ausfish.com.au in box again and press GO

the window should come up the home page

    good luck!

Its most likely going to be a problem with some sort of advertising loading up a plugin. Cant tell you how to do it off the cuff but disable any plugins such as abobe flash or possibly quicktime. Update to the latest versions.

Out of respect for this forum I wont be linking to my site or giving the name, that's just bad manners.

You wouldn't be interested anyway - it's chock full of women!
