Nice bream buddy... keep at it

Heavy gear but I guess horses for courses.

40+cm Winter Bream on the Gold Coast are common... always a great session if you can handle the cold.

Give the kid a break!! Who really cares if it is or isnt 52cm? Its a nice fish either way. Poor bugger wont bother posting again if he is going to cop crap from all of the experts in here!!

Keep it up mate! They are both good fish!

This sort of post is some of the reasons allot of good and knowledgeable people stop posting reports regularly.

So what if it not the size he first thought it was still a good fish and I'm sure at the time it looked 50+.

I can see the headlines now...BIG BAD MUPPETS BEAT UP JUNIOR ANGLER - muppets you should be proud of yourselves! This kid needs help uploading a piccy and here you are swinging your frustration (due to a lack of fish and women no doubt) in his face??? Muppets like yourselves are the very reason people don't waste time posting decent fish anymore - It only takes one muppet and the rest jump on board like the puppets you truly are - do us a favour while you are all in the same boat back patting each other for picking on a kid - pull the bloody bung and go peacefully.

    Beautiful night go fishing!

nice fish mate! Breambos do grow that big 50+ especially down your way. I have caught a 52cm model on the sunshine coast a couple of years ago. They fight nasty when they get past 35cm i bet it gave you a work out.
    Nice job keep it up
