actually now that i look at it...are u sure its not a rougue barramundi? must has swam down there in search of warmer water...yeah it could definatley be a barramundi, i mean it has scales like a barra and it swims in saltwaterlike a barra and u did need 25lb line to land it so if it was my guess id definately call it for at least a 60lb barra...nice catch...

This sort of post is some of the reasons allot of good and knowledgeable people stop posting reports regularly.

So what if it not the size he first thought it was still a good fish and I'm sure at the time it looked 50+.

I can see the headlines now...BIG BAD MUPPETS BEAT UP JUNIOR ANGLER - muppets you should be proud of yourselves! This kid needs help uploading a piccy and here you are swinging your frustration (due to a lack of fish and women no doubt) in his face??? i dont get it it was friking 45-48cm, my computer screen is 55 cm and its just smaller than that. GOD YOU CANT TELL FROM THE PHOTO YOU WOULD HAVE HAD TO BE THERE.

sorry, um in the river way futher up in gomandale there are trout but where i fish there are poddy mullet, siver bream, black bream, and tailor.

nice fish mate! Breambos do grow that big 50+ especially down your way. I have caught a 52cm model on the sunshine coast a couple of years ago. They fight nasty when they get past 35cm i bet it gave you a work out.

screen dimensions are measured diagonally not width , maybe thats what threw you off there , either way nice fish and i hope you keep em comming
