Afternoon Crew, When for a fish & chase some sand crabs out from Bells creek this morning. Got some good live mullet and off we went. The wind was blowning 25knots. There were 5 other boat trailers at the ramp. Put the pots in and went to the other side and put out the live mullet on the drop off and waited and waited and waited. Nothing on the live mullet or mullet fillets. Bugger the fishing we thought and back to check the pots. We had a couple of crabs in each pot but no keepers. Decided to leave 2 pots out. Got home cleaned the boat and checked the weather for tommorrow when I go back to get the pots. The report say's: There is a low out in the coral sea. Gale force warning issued. Strong wind warning issued 30 to 40 knots winds coming tonight and tommorrow.
I think I'll go and get my pots this afternoon!!!!!!!!
Happened to notice a thick set bloke checking more than 4 crab pots just south of Bells. Thought about chellenge him about it but thought the day was bad enough not getting any fish or Crabs.

Weather looks ok up your way fri-sat, the boat has been packed for days haha,
Hopefully by fri this wind pings off?? have some spanner crab pots I wanna give a test run

Man fishing has been hard with the wind up here. Blowning about 35knots at the moment. Swell has bumped right up and will be bigger tommorrow. Caloundra bar would be fun!!!!!
Went back to get my pots yesterday arvo and bagged a nice bream and a couple of good whiting on yabbies. No crabs though.
