I have this week off on holidays and yep.....wind, and lots of it.
How's the mouth of Tinnie creek in the southerly's? Is it best to launch from Lota or Thorneside?
Any suggestions for places hidden from this wicked wind? Suggestions appreciated.

The mouth may still be blown out in a southerly, how much depends on a few things. Good thing is you can cruise up the creek as far as you want and there's plenty of options.
Launching, forget lota unless its a reasonable high tide and your boat is 14' or less. Go down to the "ramp" alongside the train station at thorneside or the proper ramp further downstreem of there, it's marked in the ubd.

Should be few bream in the middle reaches at this time of year, but again high tde is important for travelingup the creek unless you have a spare prop.

Hi Angryant,
My dad and I fish out the mouth in our canoe every weekend, so depending on your vessel's size, could try for whiting on the yabbie banks, or at low tide even hop out of your boat and fish on the sand bar. We fish into the channel with soft plastics and always come home with a decent fish.

Watch the water depth at the mouth of Tinni creek.
Some of the beacons need to be moved.
Came thru there at half tide about 2 months ago.
Nearly had to get out and push. Some spots were only 40cm deep.

Mate. Heading out towards the bay.
From the ramp make sure you go around the red bouy(rocks) .
From the first set of beacons you come to, around the dogleg untill you turn right and head straight towards Wello. All that bit can get shallow.
The sand and mud shifts frequently.
