    Cool Kat

This little weave was done by Doc Ski a long time ago and I did if for a little fun with Doc's permission.
One layer of lite epoxy was slapped on to protect the thread while I decide what to do with the handle.
This is on a pink blank and I put black eva grips on it which really stands out like a saw thumb, so I have decided to put some inlays into the handle to break up the contrast. What I have not decided is what kind of inlays to do.

Ian this one is for you.
    cheers

    Goodo Sandy
How about ripping off the black grips and then bung purple grips with black (or green) bands (opposite what you have in the weave) and a purple alloy reel seat.
Halo guides with purple unders with black or green bands to make the grips and then orange overs to make it all match up

    Nice work matey

I'm nearly temped to start another rod looking at what you and Owen and Mark and young Adam are doing.
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

    Good one Sandy.

Finga is on the right track. I'd probably go for purple grips with some thin pink trim rings or some bright green trim rings. Because your background thread is black, I'd use that as an over wrap on your guides and use a combination of purple and pink or purple and green in the guide underwraps. Just my 2 bobs worth. Great weave yet again.

    Regards
    Mark

    Don't worry Scotty,
I got onto that bloke from queer eye for the straight guy that's here in Oz at the moment and told him you suck.
He said he'll be right around to sort you out!
    Cheers,
    Owen

    Scott's suggestions are good.

And... I like scotts " glitter ' thingies for the whats-its.

hear you there phill, think he is way to in touch with his feminine side.

Like your idea Scott and Mark and I now have pink, purple, green and many other colour grips. I just can't bring myself to tear of the others unless I can re-use them. Tight hey.

I still have 1 more pink blank and 2 purple so will do something with those.

Nice work Sandy, it is a tricky weave. I am sure even "Kat Dawg" (Chris) who I think Doc did it for would be impessed with your work.
