    Baitcaster stuffed?

I got a failry solid hit the other day that bent the rod right over, and it jammed the reel up completely. It's a low profile baitcaster on a 4-8kg rod. The line feed jammed hard up against the left hand side, resulting in all the line piling up on the left. I've since unjammed it, pulled it apart, and cleaned it, but I cant find anything wrong with it. It still jams up everytime the line feed moves to the far left. Its a fairly old reel, but i've always maintaned it well.

    Any suggestions?

worm drive is probably burred, can easily be replaced provided they still make part for the reel

Its an old pro hunter - possibly made by jarvis walker, not sure. How much would that cost to fix? Or would I be better off to upgrade?

If you don't even know what it is then it'll be near impossible to get parts for. Your options are probably chuck it and get a new reel, or try and find the burr and file it back.

Thanks Jeremy. I'll see if I can fix it myself, if not I might just head out and buy a new reel.
