they have many times. iv lost about 10 verry nice size ones from twinwaters and noosa this year. they ither make it to the oysters or crab pots or anker ropes or the hooks pull or i get to the end of my spool and pop, time for new braid. or they are just croozing past and egnore every thing i tossed at them, or even worse the feller im fishing with snakes it from me.
ithere i realy suck with catching them or iv got some one with a voodoo dole with my face on it. i can understand why im having so much trubble getting them as i use to slay the crap out of them living up in darwin. the old maraboo jigs and halco twistys did it for me every time or live herring intended for a queenie.
figjam
