Son wants to start paddling

Been looking around for something for my 16 year old son to get onto the water with. Not looking at big dollars just yet, more a rig to see if he is going to be in it for the long haul and not just a phase.

Was looking at the Sevylor inflatlable Dive Yak 2 seater at this stage, but I am open to any ideas that other may have.

Also after opinions good and bad about the Sevylor dive yak.

I have a Sevylor 10 feet inflatable boat and the Tahiti Canoe in yellow. Both really good and the Yellow canoe/kayak is cheap around the $100 mark.
