Whiting and Barra

hi all

I went fishing a couple of days ago with (shaun_s) and i got this nice 32cm whiting on plastic nice little fight!!

Also got this nice 70cm barra the other day one a hard body it really surprised me, it seems every time u hook a fish is when you least expect it aye .

Thirsty, my "guess" would be its a pond donky from up the coast... that water and the bank look familiar to me...

Still a great catch on a lure though James!!! (If my guess above is right,, you never answered Childers Q?). The pond donkeys I know of up there don't usually eat hard body lures anywhere near as much as Livies or pellets..

Leave him alone Ffej, first time I saw it I knew it was a river mouth fish, Northern side, put the time in mate and U might be able to do it too.

You can catch fish like that from he Barra Park at Bli Bli. $50 says he was caught on a pellet .
