Fishing/camping Darwin
Hi Good people,
What a great day in Gladstone sandflys biting when outside so it means no wind.
Missus has a new bedroom suite comming today so have to stay home.
But anyhow we want to go to Darwin Easter 2009.
We are looking for a good camp ground or prefer a park that as cabins.
Would like to be on the water edge of course.
Anyone have an idea how long from Gladsatone or there abouts.
Also our boat is a Stacer 3.95 with a 30 Merc is this big enough for up there as i have no ides what it is like.
What size line and any special lures .
Thanks Garry/Karen

Re: Fishing/camping Darwin
Mate Easter here in Darwin would have to be the most popular time for a trip, almost everywhere will be booked solid.......so get in early.Crab Claw resort at Bynoe is a good option with cabins right on the water or Dundee lodge at fog bay or Sinclairs on the Daly and Wollianna.perrys, mango farm to name a few all have cabin's etc.
Your boat will be fine infact it's a good sized little barra boat as for lure's line tackle etc the coices are endless but soething in the 8kg baitcaster/spin stick for flicking and something in the 15kg for reefy's will do the trick,
Dan.
