Smile Quick throw in the creek at Warwick

I had to go to a funeral up there on Monday so I thought I'd take my rod and have a throw in the creek to see what's happening.
I sat on a cocky's bridge and fished for about 20 minutes.
The cocky saw me and got up me.
    I upped him back.
    He remembered who I was.
We went and had a beer.
No bites and no fish. Bugger
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

Yeah mate. Good on them I say.
This poor bugger has had a bit of drama in the past with blokes forcing there riparian rights.

He's had no end of crap dumped in the creek and along the bank.
He's had steep banks collapsed after blokes trying to get up and down or trying to launch boats.

Even the EPA was up him for trying to clear out all the silt that's built up over the years.
He tried to explain to them that he was wanting to clean a section of the creek every year and if he didn't there wouldn't be a creek in a few years.
He was going to remove the logs and stuff, clean the silt out then replace the structure. He knew the structure saved the bank, slowed the water rushing and by doing this saved his paddocks.
The fish side of things was an extra bonus for his boys.
The bloke was even going to dig a bit of a bank out so boats could be launched without all the ill effects but no was the answer from EPA.
