Covered the full length of the dam yesterday. The weed has settled and doesn't gather on your trebbles near as much. Water is warming up.

The fish are mainly down at the lower end, suspended at all depths within the last few ks of the dam wall, the hump and above the spit.

These are fish symbols I am talking about. Where up in the narrows you have to search to find a few signs in and around trees and fallen timber.

Flocks of Terns moving about the dam, rafts of Comorants drifting around. Plus the regulars, Pelicans and Seaguls. So there has to be plenty of tucker under the water.

I only had about 100 casts and 30 min of trolling, didn't raise a thing. Spent my time recording trails, marking waypoints and photographing the birdlife.

I would rather concentrate up the top in the narrows where there is more timber, snags and rocky banks and wait for the fish to come back up.
So if anybody else would care to comment on the lower section I am sure it would be appreciated.

To sum it all up the dam is healthy and we will have a good season ahead of us I am sure.
