Northern Blue Charter Torres Strait
I have just returned from a four day charter on the San Miguel (Northern Blue Frontier Fishing) and I can tell you that it was just unbelievable.
Skipper Bob Wallenburg and deckie Al took our group of eight six hours North East of Thursday Island to some of the most untouched and remote fishing grounds in Australia. The furtherest we went were the Yorke Islands, totally and utterly beautiful
Some of the sessions we had could only be described as absolute carnage! The photo with all the fish on deck was the result of 5 guys fishing for around an hour.
Bob and Al were excellent hosts, the boat is an absolute ripper, the fishing exceptional, the food outstanding and the company first rate.
No wives so the only thing cold all trip was the beer!!

Geoff,
Sounds like a fantastic trip, you certainly got onto some great fish.
What sort of $ are you looking at for a trip like that.

Around a couple of grand, plus airfares so it's great value.
The most expensive part is keeping Bob and Al in rum at the Torres after the trip lol.
We all bought home about 25kg of fillets which is great as well.
Cheers
