Daiwa Hyper Custom - Reversing the handle

Hi,

I just purchased a Daiwa Hyper Custom and tried reversing the handle onto the righthand side of the reel - which is easy enough.

However I have noticed that the handle sticks out from the body of the feel by a few millimeters\ when connected to the right side. When connected to the left hand side, it sits flush......hmm.

Is this normal for this reel?

pretty much. all the certates we have are the same.

yep, my 2500 and 4000 hyper certates both do it too, its normal.
