PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant VBA_SCRIPT - assumed 'VBA_SCRIPT' (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in ..../includes/functions_navigation.php(802) : eval()'d code on line 1 Navionics charts update
Thought I'd contact Navionics to get an idea off them as to when they might have the new Moreton Bay zones included on new charts. As you would expect, it is too soon for them to have heard from EPA but the following extract will give you an idea of when they may be available.
'We as the Australian Navionics Sales and Marketing franchisee have heard nothing from the EPA or the QLD Government. Navionics is licensed by MSQ through the Qld department of transport.
To get the MSQ surveys took 14 years, the EPA data will hopefully be sooner, we need to receive either cart blanche permission to use the copyright or a license agreement needs to be entered into. Then the data will be forwarded to our software offices in Hyderabad. We would expect the production to be within a year of receiving the licence. This depends on where the Australian chart groups are in the Roadmap. I would be hopeful we will get this information in either May 09 or May 10, depending on the process.'
Hopefully the promised EPA signs and markers, and distribution of a range of information including maps and brochures to help us navigate the marine park and identify the new zones will be sufficient.

If you contact Garry Linacre (garry@navionics.com.au) you'll probably find their latest chart has the zones included. If not he may be able to tell you when an upgrade will be available which includes them. It costs around $110 incl GST for the upgrade.
